Four years tick on by….

Saturday 1 April 2017

Four years ago on a cold English morning we headed out from the Solent, England, with an ambition to sail around the world. Now we find ourselves back in the Caribbean with just over a month until our adventure will be over.

We’re celebrating with a bottle of bubbles that made it around the world on board Adina. Was it worth it? By gum, yes! We’ve been blessed with a solid beautiful boat and a whole heap of friends and support.

A huge thank you to all of you who have supported us in so many ways.

Shivers guys!! A massive chapter in your respective lives is nearing an end in order to make way for the next featuring the most beautiful couple now sanctified of Mr and Mrs Peacock. The selfishness in me wants the status quo of the last 4 years. The realistic wishes you both the most joyous life together as a continuum. Maybe hanging onto Ardina for more specific and shorter adventures either way. Bless you all and I wish you all the most satisfied time emortal.

  5. Congratulations. I just found your blog through my friend Andrea on SY Antares. A great source of information which I plan to leverage as we head across the Indian Ocean in 2018. What a grand adventure you have enjoyed.

Congratulations to you both – for achieving such a special once-in-a-lifetime adventure. It has been a truly wonderful and inspiring read of your travels and endeavours, over the last four years.
The very best of wishes and joyous reflection when you are reunited with Adina back in England, and start to plan you next chapter!
