Nearly in the Pacific! Just the two Miraflores Locks to go. Enjoying it but time to focus as these are the toughest locks. 4 knots of current when we leave. It’s hot!

Local time 1520 and we’re entering Miraflores Locks! Great news our advisor has organised for the webcam to be pointed on us!

We’re now rafted alongside a catamaran and tied in place in the Pedro Miguel Lock. We’re awaiting the arrival of a ship to join us in the lock before we start our descent to the Pacific Ocean! It’s a quick 1 mile across a small lake then the two Miraflores Locks to finish.

We are motor sailing in convoy with two catamarans. According to the schedules we are due to be at the Miraflores Lock at 3.20pm local time. As ever, this is with a health warning!
