Thanks

There are so many people who have helped us in so many ways to fulfill our dream and we cannot express our thanks enough. To list everybody would take pages but you know who you are. THANK YOU!

For fellow sailors, we all sadly know how hard it is in the marine industry to find decent, honest folk who give great service at a fair price. We’ve decided to share those who have gone beyond the ordinary for us. Let’s call them “The Extraordinary”! We’ve added links below. Please feel free to share anyone you strongly recommend.

Tim from TJ Marine – based in Hamble, England. Not sure there is anything Tim can’t do; he helped us with running rigging. One of the few gems who doesn’t rip you off, does an excellent job, helps, cares. info@tjmarine.co.uk, +44 (0) 7876 237285.

Bob Orchard, an excellent electrician based in Falmouth. Great sense of humour too. boborchard.electricalservices@yahoo.co.uk, +44 (0)7989 571211.

Nick Farell and his team at YB Tracking . We love our YB Tracker and the service from Nick is simply excellent. Highly recommended! info@ybtracking.com, +44 (0) 2380 00 3888.

Jeremy at Piplers in Poole has always been our favoured chandlery – he’s good at sourcing things and gives good prices. info@piplers.co.uk, +44 (0) 1202 673056.

Dave and the team at Admiral Yacht Insurance have always been a responsive and supportive insurer, offering advice as well at a fair price. yacht@admiralyacht.com, yacht@admiralyacht.com+44 (0)1722 416106.

Fischer Panda. Whilst we have had more issues with our generator than we would have liked, we have always received outstanding customer support and service from the Fischer Panda teams, both in England and Germany, helping us to overcome the issues we experience.

Noel Hudson at Liapari, Solomon Islands. There is little Noel can’t fix/do having been in the boating industry for over thirty years. His rates are good value and most of all Noel understands customer service and is just one of the nicest people out there, always willing to help. This is how boatyards / marinas should be run! noel.hudson.liapari@gmail.com, +677 30441.
